A: Under California law, businesses are prohibited from engaging in discriminatory practices and are required to provide safe and sanitary food to their customers. If you believe that you were denied promotional services, required to prepay for your food, and received unsanitary food that contained bugs, you may have grounds for legal action.

Additionally, if you were threatened by the manager at the restaurant, this could be considered harassment or intimidation and may be grounds for legal action as well.

To pursue legal action against the restaurant, you will need to hire an attorney who specializes in personal injury or consumer protection law. These attorneys have experience in handling cases related to food safety, harassment, and discrimination.

To find a qualified attorney, you can research attorneys in your area who specialize in personal injury or consumer protection law. You can also ask for referrals from trusted friends, family members, or community organizations.

Once you have found an attorney, they will work with you to gather evidence and build a case against the restaurant. This may involve obtaining witness statements, video footage, and other evidence that can support your claim.

It is important to note that personal injury and consumer protection cases can be complex and require a significant amount of time and resources to pursue. Additionally, it may be possible for the restaurant to settle the case out of court to avoid negative publicity.

Overall, if you believe that you were mistreated by the restaurant, it is important to take action to hold them accountable. By hiring an experienced attorney and pursuing legal action, you can help ensure that your rights are protected and that others are not subjected to similar mistreatment in the future.
