Q: Is my exhusband committing medicaid fraud?
So we have joint custody but in our parenting plan it clearly states I am to handle all drs dentist an eye appts an bc of that her medicaid is also under my name an my case an he has started to sneak her to appts with out my knowledge an her appts have been double an her insurance only will pay for certain things once a year so I've gotten billed for it I've brought it up to him multiple times an he continues to do it would this be considered fraud since hes signing for it to be billed an not me?
A: It's not fraud, but it is a violation of your parenting plan. This could be handled by filing a motion to show cause.
