A: A Georgia attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. It's difficult to say what the balance legally owed should be without seeing the bill and EOB. As a starting point, you could request insurance company's denial or EOB. That should at least outline which services, line by line, were approved and which were denied - OR if additional information is necessary. If you do decide to ultimately consult with a Georgia attorney to challenge the insurance carrier's position - that denial or EOB will be the first thing the attorney asks for. You could save time by doing some of the legwork there yourself. I hope your daughter is okay. Good luck
