Q: I’m 15 when I’m 16 can my mother who has passed bestfriend my godmother fight for my and my 14 year old sis custody
My mother passed about 2 months ago i was placed back with my grandparents who I lived with before I need help knowing what I need to do to fight for me and my sister to be under my godmothers custody permanent I’m in Virginia I’m 15 turning 16 in February my sister is 14 just turned 14 yesterday sep 7th my godmother lives in North Carolina in Dobson so what would it take for it because we honestly just wanna feel love once again our mother and godparents and their family was the only one to really show us love and been there for us no matter what and to be with our family happy once again I’ve never felt at home here nor my sister so it’s rough living here and sleeping at night knowing if your safe my grandpa is a alcoholic and it’s a lot for us to handle a lot of the time because everything comes out at us.. I wanna know my options and what I need to do to make that happen I been searching the internet but not much helps
