A: Most of this will depend on a number of items, such as whether the county you had the original citation is is going to do any type of statewide check. Even if they do, you can retain counsel, and they should be able to work out an agreement that will allow for either extending or reinstating the probation on the original ticket, particularly since the second ticket was not a moving violation, but that will be a negotiation between the prosecutor and your attorney. The prosecutor may not give your new ticket much thought as it is a parking ticket, but they may also have a show cause hearing where your attorney will need to explain why it is that you failed to comply with the original terms of your agreement on the first ticket. That is why it would be wise for you to retain someone who can work with the prosecutor and who can resolve this in your best interests before the court.
