Q: Speeding ticket record retention time limit in North Dakota
In May 2022, I got a speeding ticket in North Dakota. I dutifully paid the fine and went on my way. My home state was notified of it via interstate compact.
I wondered though, will the ticket eventually disappear from the North Dakota court site?
Rules for court records retention promulgated by the North Dakota court system suggest that traffic ticket records are to be retained by the court until June 30 three years ACFY (after current fiscal year).
So is it safe to assume my speeding ticket will be deleted from North Dakota court records shortly after June 30, 2025?
