Q: My adoptive parents kicked me out, changed my social media password went through it and won’t give it back. What to do?
I was kicked out 2 months ago by my adoptive parents. I was kicked out for no reason randomly one day and all they let me take was a suitcase. It took a week and a half for them to let me come back and get my things which was hard enough as it was seeing as they had packed everything up in boxes. When they first wouldn’t let me get anything I threatened to involve law enforcement in which they said I wouldn’t be able to have anything including my personal records. When I got to their house my boyfriend and I opened the boxes to make sure everything was there, at no point did we ever take anything out of the boxes. When my mom came in the room she hit me and tried dragging me out of the house and cut my arm in the process. She ended up threatening to pull a gun on me and only let my boyfriend get my things. She then changed the password on my social media account that I’ve had before I lived with her. She changed the password and will not let me get it back. I do not know what to do.
