Q: water pipe leaked in our common wall HOA repaired it (6 weeks later) they hired unlicensed workers to come open wall .
I have emails from HOA stating the ins. ck covers abatement but seems not asbestos. We (owners) had another company all set to open wall as they were certified to remove/dispose of asbestos but site manager turned them away as he hired another company behind our back. This company falsely advertised they do asbestos removal but that wasn't true and Dept. Of Health made them remove that from the ad site. So now we have 4,449.. extra in abatement charges due to unlicensed to remove asbestos workers were hired. Not to mention lost of clothes/bed due to asbestos fibers couldn't come out. Also plumber wasn't licensed to remove asbestos and left a lg. trash bags in unit.
