Louisville, KY asked in Personal Injury and Car Accidents for Kentucky

Q: I need help, direction, and advice from anyone that can point me in the right direction.

I want to say that I've been represented by 2 different law groups and both have gotten "stuck" in an area and dropped me. My case is a personal injury hit and run case with lots of pre-existing conditions and limited sources of insurance for a financial recovery. I've called up many lawyers about my case and no one wants to take the case. I'm still in contact with a few lawyers that are reviewing information but haven't told me whether or not they'll take the case. If anyone out there can help me find a lawyer that would be appreciated. I've also called the Kentucky and Louisville bar association referral service but when I got to a point the phone kept on ringing so that didn't help me.

A: Try Chris Meinhart, Mark Smith or Robert Mattingly. They may be able to help you.

A: I'm sorry for your ordeal. Those tend to be difficult cases. The firms who originally took on your cases must have explored public funds for victims/accident indemnification. You've already tried bar associations - you could additionally check with legal aid if they have any recommendations. Good luck
