Q: Question for small claims
I just have a question about mortgaged houses. The person who mortgaged the house to me didn't inform me that the house was already mortgaged to other people, and now there are 19 of us who have been mortgaged the same house. We have a contract, and it was notarized, but my problem now is that the person might not be able to repay my capital, and they are no longer following the terms of the contract.
A: Attorneys who work with mortgages, banking, and real estate matters could advise best, but your question remains open for a month. You could repost and add some of those categories. But with the number of parties involved that you describe, this looks like it might be a complex mess beyond the scope of Small Claims. It could be difficult for attorneys to offer a quick, direct response containing meaningful guidance. It's likely you'll need to arrange a consult. Good luck
