A: I'm sorry you're going through this difficult time. To find an attorney for your guardianship case, start by reaching out to local legal aid organizations in San Diego. They often provide free or low-cost legal services to families in need. Organizations like Legal Aid Society of San Diego can offer support and may have attorneys available to assist you.

You can also contact the San Diego County Bar Association, which has a lawyer referral service. They can connect you with attorneys who offer payment plans or sliding scale fees based on your income. Additionally, some law firms take on pro bono cases, so it's worth inquiring about those opportunities.

Don't hesitate to visit family law clinics or seek assistance from nonprofit organizations that focus on child custody and guardianship issues. These resources can provide guidance and help you navigate the legal system to work towards getting your daughter back. Stay persistent and reach out to multiple sources to find the support you need.
