Philadelphia, PA asked in Cannabis & Marijuana Law, Contracts and Landlord - Tenant for Pennsylvania

Q: Unsafe at Evo: roommates bully me for reporting their weed use, prevent beef consumption, and management ignores me.

I’m staying at Evo at Cira Centre South (4 bedroom). I have Indian roommates and they don’t let me eat beef because of their religion and I’m scared they might try to hurt me if I eat beef. They smoke weed in the living room and are loud all the time. They speak badly about me when I can hear them. I reported to the management and filed reports with the security about the weed issue but there was no outcome. Now I’m being bullied because they know I complained about them. I feel very unsafe. What can I do to make the management care about me? The lease says it is illegal to use cannabis and smoke inside but they also state they can't provide a smoke-free environment. I don't mind smoking but I am really disturbed by weed because I don't use drugs and I want to stay away from people who do. The management just tells me to pay 300 dollars to transfer rooms. They said they will take the certain steps for the weed issue but they never did.
