Boston, MA asked in Consumer Law and Contracts for New Hampshire

Q: I have been renting a vehicle for quite some time now and am being charged a good amount over from what my math pans out

When I ask about these details I’m met with attitude and rudeness. I’m specifically looking to get information on what’s shown on my rental agreement as a “concession fee” I did not rent from an airport, just the regular office location and when I ask about these fees in person or over the phone, they totally avoid saying the term “concession fe” but refer to it as a surcharge, which after reading up on the topic a little, I believe I know why it’s being avoided as it was never told to me, explained to me at all and anything I bring up about it gets really shady and they’ll start beating around the bush. I’ve been charged $312 alone in just this suspicious fee so I’d really like to know EXACTLY what is going on with this as I struggle financially very badly regardless of working 70 hours a eeek, I don’t have money to just lose out on for some scammy type antics and would like to contact corporate once I get all the information!! Thank you so much.
