Q: Regarding to driving with incorrect plates on vehicle, how could one get the case expunged?
Was test driving a vehicle that had illegally the wrong license plate on it , I not knowing this information, and that the tags and registration were also expired. They said I had to show up to court so that I can explain why the wrong license plate was on the vehicle. And come to find out when looking up who the car was intended to be rightfully owned by via VIN #, the person said it was the passenger and the cops still wrote me a ticket for having the wrong license plate.. My confusion is to why the cops didnt rewrite the ticket and give it to the passenger since it was his vehicle, when I was just test driving it?
