Q: I changed my mind in less than 24 hours about my pet being surrendered, but the place will not give it back
We wanted to find a new home for our bunny and wanted to carefully choose a new family for her. We reached out to the Indiana House Rabbit Society who told us to come to an adoption event. When we arrived, there was no adoption event, they took the rabbit and dismissed us with information that no adoption can take place until at least a month. We have changed our mind about the adoption because we did not want our rabbit to stay in a that kind of environment. We came the next morning to get her home, but they refused to give her back - saying that we gave up our rights to her when we dropped her
