Denver, CO asked in Landlord - Tenant and Personal Injury for Montana

Q: Who do I contact for help when the landlord refuses to fix the septic system that has overflown into my mobile home

The manager and owner of the lot that I rent refused to take responsibility for the failing septic system in which raw feces from trailer court backed up into my home flooding my master bathroom and bedroom. It was trapped underneath saturating the entire length of my mobile home. They then evicted me without grounds and vested my title. refused to allow access to my personal belongings and did not protect them from mold and contamination. I had made known I was not renewing the lease before they filed for eviction. I was also a victim of the flood and was unable to remove property until damage from sewage and flood waters could be done. I have physical injuries from their negligence and need help filing complaints. I was given the opportunity by a mutual friend to have a day to retrieve the most important private property and found that all valuables were stolen and the rest contaminated and then taken or thrown away all. The septic system is a health hazard and I need contact

A: A Montana attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a month. I'm sorry about your ordeal. You could reach out to attorneys in the categories you correctly chose; you could also reach out to attorneys who work with civil litigation. Good luck
