Q: I recently had a procedure to alleviate pain and increased range of motion in my left foot. I lost range of motion >pain
Recent procedure to alleviate pain and increase range of motion on left foot. I actually lost range of motion and have additional pain after the first procedure. Had a second procedure and continue to have limited range and continue to have pain. I’ve been off work since July and I’m scheduled back in March, which is concerning cause I spend most of my time on my feet.
A:
I'm sorry to hear about all the pain. Unfortunately, you didn't ask a legal question, and I don't like speculating. Are you looking for a medical malpractice attorney?
Best,
Merry
A: I'm sorry for your ordeal and the frustration of suffered further reduction in range of motion following surgery. If you are wondering whether you might have a case against the facility that performed the surgery, it could be difficult for attorneys to offer guidance on that point. The fact that range of motion did not improve after surgery could be attributed to any number of things. Although it looks like you might be contemplating a theory that something was done wrong, med mal attorneys who might consider the case would review the file, including patient health history to anticipate all possible challenges to such a claim. If you want to learn more about your rights in this situation, your best starting point may be to try to arrange a free initial-no obligation consult with Washington attorneys. I hope your situation with your foot improves. Good luck
