Q: Citibank account locked after failed transfer, seeking unfreeze advice in NY.

I have recently opened a new account with Citibank and received my second direct deposit. When attempting to transfer $2,150 to my Capital One account, I received an alert indicating that my access was locked. Upon calling Citibank's fraud department, I was informed that an investigation was underway, initially expected to take 24-48 hours, but later extended to 7-10 business days. This happened after an issue with receiving a different debit card than was on file. The account is now fully locked, preventing any transactions, and Citibank has not provided a clear reason for the discrepancies or account lock. I am seeking advice on how to address this situation and unfreeze my account.
