Bergenfield, NJ asked in Criminal Law and Domestic Violence for New Jersey

Q: Can I contact my boyfriend in prison after domestic incident in NJ?

I cannot see or talk to my boyfriend because he is detained after a domestic incident we had, which led to charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault. He is facing a sentence of 3 to 25 years, and there are no protective orders against contact with him. As the victim, will I be able to see and talk to him after he is sentenced and sent to prison?
