I want to remove my ex-partner as a co-signer from a loan for a mobile home. We signed the loan in February 2023, and there have been no missed payments. The lender hasn't been helpful, and the only suggestion they've made is to sign over power of attorney, which I'm unwilling to do unless I'm free from responsibility for the loan or my ex is removed.
