I experienced medical malpractice while receiving wound care at Henrico County Jail from November 2, 2024, to January 31, 2025, and again from March 19, 2025, to April 4, 2025. During this time, a neglected abscess turned into an open wound in my lower left leg due to exposure to rusted metal, causing lead poisoning. Currently, a medicated alginated silver pad is stuck in the wound, which wasn't changed daily, leading to an infection. I haven't filed any complaints yet. I am scheduled to see a professional at VCU on April 18, 2025. How do I file a lawsuit for this medical malpractice?
