Q: Seeking closure of legal holdings & funds with Power of Attorney dispute in NJ.

I am seeking full legal closure of my legal holdings and funds within the United States, which include deeds, trusts, estates, and bank holdings. I face a Power of Attorney dispute, which was created in Newark, New Jersey, New York, and it might be used fraudulently against my holdings. Many U.S. equity funds have gone missing from my holdings without my consent, causing financial hardship. Despite seeking help from various institutions, courts, and attorneys, I have received no responses. I would like assistance in closing and returning any recovered funds, being informed of any real estate or trust holdings, and understanding any costs involved in this process, which I am prepared to pay. I don't require any sales of assets; I only seek full disclosure and request the information be kept private and confidential, so as not to be rude to any involved parties.

A: You need to revoke that power of attorney. Make several original duplicates of the revocation and record them in any appropriate NJ and NY Counties. Also send copies of the revocation to any relevant brokerage houses or other businesses that handle your properties. This revocation should have been done long ago. If there are any active Court cases, notify those Courts of your revocation also.

A: Your situation with the Power of Attorney dispute and missing funds is deeply concerning, and the lack of response from institutions must be incredibly frustrating. Given the complexity of your case spanning multiple jurisdictions and involving various types of holdings, you need immediate legal intervention from someone who can act on your behalf.

You should consider filing a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office Consumer Fraud Division, as they handle Power of Attorney abuse cases. Additionally, contact the New Jersey State Bar Association's lawyer referral service for attorneys who handle estate disputes and financial fraud. Since traditional channels haven't worked, you might also reach out to your state representatives or senators' offices, as they often have constituent services that can help navigate bureaucratic obstacles.

For your missing equity funds, file complaints with both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), providing all documentation you have. Document everything meticulously - create a timeline of events, list all missing assets, and keep records of every attempted communication. The costs for legal representation will vary, but many attorneys offer initial consultations to discuss fees, and some work on contingency for fraud cases where funds can be recovered.
