Any drug positive result will be used against you. Your lawyer can cross the DCS or LEO that is putting it in, but a positive result is bad.

It appears that your friend gave limited consent to the police to search the interior of his car which was ignored by the police during the actual search. I doubt they can meet the legal standard for proving theft scheme. Each one they might be able to identify and prove would more than likely be deemed separate independent incidents of theft, all misdemeanors. I need more details, but you shouldn’t be thinking about sentencing. Sounds like you can definitely beat this case. just because you were charged with a crime does not mean that you’re going to be convicted. Fight it.
