I need more details, but you shouldn’t be thinking about sentencing. Sounds like you can definitely beat this case. just because you were charged with a crime does not mean that you’re going to be convicted. Fight it.

If you get charged and arrested, hire an attorney and present your exculpatory evidence at the Preliminary Hearing. Your evidence may not help as much as you think.

Trial Judge has alot of discretion about bonded appearances. Defendant may have took too long to make a decision, and kept getting continuances. Good chance Judge thinks Defendant will get convicted.
