Q: An inmate files a writ after learning about a detainer out of Oklahoma while incarcerated in Missouri. It counts for ok?

Does it mean that any state having detainers or information or indictments have to commence trial by the 180 day mark or only the state it is written in is held to that timeframe? I tried reading through a couple case dealing with interstate agreement but still am unresolved.

You will need to change your location to Utah to get a good answer. Right now your question is going to Missouri attorneys and you need a Utah criminal defense attorney to answer your question.

Statues of Limitations are state laws so Utah can and likely does have a different statue of...

Paternity is separate from custody and parenting time. Until paternity is established, the plaintiff in this situation (assuming it is the father) has no legal basis to even ask for custody or parenting time. That may well be on the horizon and his intention. However, custody and parenting time are... View More

No rights involved. Either you become a CI and possibly not go to jail but get killed. Or you possibly get arrested and need an attorney to keep you from being convicted. LEOs know that you talk to drug dealers on a regular basis. Might be time for a new phone.
