Q: What’s the statue of limitation on life insurance

My deceased father made his sister a successor on his life insurance and I was a minor at the time of his death. I want to know did the agent have rights to release my portion of the money to my half brother who gained guardianship of me, being that my Aunt was the successor.

Have you contacted the life insurance company? Was a guardianship opened on your behalf? If so, money was probably released into the guardianship account. I would need more information to give a proper answer.

When you apply for insurance, attach a copy of the admission from GEICO that it is a duplicate claim and that it "can not be removed" from the system.

Are you saying you can't pick up a phone, call a Florida insurance broker, and get Florida insurance? That is very doubtful. In any event, I don't believe it will be suspended before you return to Florida.

Q: FL-I fired a lawyer. I was not happy with the lawyer do I have to pay the lawyer a percentage of a ending settlement

The lawyer put a lien on me but they want to have their name added to the settlement and the insurance company is telling me that they have to put the lawyer's name on it. Even if the lawyer did not help with the ending settlement amount.
