Q: I lived with my boyfriend for 3 through 5 months do i have to go back with my mom in kentucky with my unborn baby

If I do go back she going to take everything for me and my baby like money and ECT. Every time I gey money for the government she take and if she keep taking for me I want be able to take care of my baby and me. Need help asap.

You do not have to go back. You have emancipated but you will have to handle everything on your own from here on.

Q: My ex gf has an open cps case and has her children taken away, we just had a newborn and I would like to have custody

She has passed wve test drug and completed several plans by the state and they still are harassing her now threatening to take the baby to foster care. What are my rights. I signed the certificate of birth, I go visit every weekend and have no criminal record or anything ever.

Q: If I have a custody/child support agreement in VA, can I file for divorce in KY where live? Separated 6 years.

my wife and I have been separated for 6 years and have 2 daughters. There is a custody agreement and child support agreement based in the Virginia court's. I live in Kentucky now and want to divorce her. Can I file the paperwork in Kentucky without having to redo the custody agreement?

Q: Me and my ex husband have permanent custody of his great niece. How do I terminate the mothers rights?

I have her 99% of the time and I want to adopt her. But we both want her rights terminated and want to adopt her.

Q: On behalf of my significant other, I am asking questions in regards to his divorce, custody arrangements/child support.

Bf has not seen his son in 4 yrs. His ex spouse and own family have prevented him from having consistent communication and visitation with him. Ex and child live in Anderson, IN. Bf lives in Bowling Green, KY.

He should have a right to see his children unless those right were fully taken away by a Court which is very rare. Q: My niece was placed with me from cps

My niece was placed with me from CPS a year and 5 months ago we go to court next month CPS says they are asking for a permit placement if that happens can the biological parents get her back years later?

Possibly, but once she’s been with you six months, you stand on equal footing with the parents and that makes it much more difficult for them in the future.

Seek emancipation from the court, which is unlikely. Otherwise, plan to move as soon as you turn 18.

You can be required to pay child support whether you have contact or not. You should file a motion for return of custody in the court that took them.

You’ll need to seek emancipation in the district court of the county in which you reside. Check with the district clerk and they can tell you how the judge in your county handles them.

You should hire a lawyer to represent you and send all communications to the court through him or her. Without a lawyer, the chances of you getting snything accomplished are slim and none.

No. Make him come home, live with you and follow the rules. They have no basis to terminate your parental rights nor should you ever give them custody.

Either you’re there with her permission or you’re not. If you’re there with her permission, you won’t get into trouble. If you’re there without her permission or against her wishes, you could get into trouble. End of story.

Q: Can cps stop me from living with my mom if I give her custody of my son

Im just wondering if I give my mom custody can cps stop me from. Living with my mom we share a home and the case worker said that I wouldn't be allowed to stay over night because that would be unsupervised. Im confused as to how that is unsupervised if my mom lives there too

No, but they can remove your son from your mom if there is a risk to the child.
