Make a motion to hold them in contempt for failing to comply with the order. There will only be legal repercussions for them if you pursue sanctions for this behavior.

File a motion for reunification with the children in the underlying action in which dad was granted custody. Ask the court to send everyone to reunification therapy so you can begin a graduated Re-entry into the childrens lives.

You probably need to file a motion to relocate with the court to be safe.
He has mentioned several times that I need to take him off child support and take care of my children myself. No. Not unless that is the deal you negotiate. Even so, that will not negate his arrearage, again, unless that is something you negotiate.

Unfortunately, it is parental decision making and not abusive. It would not be helpful in court at all.
My mom and dad has joint equal custody and my mom says I can’t leave till I’m 18, but I fear if I wait that long I’ll lose my chance at having a moment or normalcy. I read somewhere that I can’t be tried in juvenile court for running away when I turn 17, would this work
answered on May 29, 2022
No. Running away will not work. Persuading your mom to let you live with your dad is the only answer short of court.
