Call your court appointed attorney. Tell them what happened and ask them to get warrant recalled and get new date.

They might continue it for 6 months or a year and then dismiss if no new offenses.

My friend got a 9 year sentence which is up on November 1. He also had a misdemeanor charge where he was given 365 days to pull. Will he still have to pull that 365 days after the 9 year sentence or will the 9 years kill out that 365?

They can only be arrested in court if there were prior orders in place on another case or a previous EPO. If they are just being served with the paperwork and had no knowledge of the restrictions they cannot be arrested for only violating those restrictions.

If they were never served at all then they had no notice of the restrictions. If they have a prior EPO or DVO that has restrictions in place and they violated a warrant can be issued for their arrest based on a new criminal charge of violating an EPO/DVO.
