I have a friend who is 16 and got pregnant by a 29 year old soon to be 30 ? They both wanted to do it nobody was forced . Will the father get charged will he be able to stick around for the baby ?

They'll move to try as an adult, and if sentences run sequentially, more years than the 17 year old will be likely to live.

The 29-year old can be found guilty of Statutory Rape which can be a felony punishable by up to four years in state prison

Parents are liable for the wilful misconduct of their children, so you could sue the child and the parent in Small Claims, but it seems unlikely that you will collect. You chose a $2.5k deductible. It saved you money on your premium, but it's going to cost you now.
