It depends what your goals are. The franchise taxes in DE can be expensive. WY may be an option to consider as well. A business lawyer can advise based on your specific circumstances.

Q: We've already spent money taking the cat to the veterinarian etc. It was given to us why should we give it back?

They're harassing us, we are trying to avoid confrontation. They are now contacting friends and family with threats. We just want them to go away and leave us alone.

Q: A person gave me a cat because they couldn't keep it. Then started harassing us for it back. What can be done?

Your question is confusing. What do you mean by Nolp? If the case was dropped, why was he sentenced to 12 years? You might think about either conferring with the attorney who represented him or going to a private attorney of your own choosing with all relevant documents including a transcript.

The owner's insurance may not cover it, and the driver is probably gone (and uninsured). May be easiest to turn it over to your insurance.

I don't practice in Delaware but, generally speaking, the owner is responsible for property taxes but potentially could shift that to the renter under the terms of the lease. A DE lawyer can verify.

Q: we moved out of rental property and left wood behind that we purchased told the owner we would be back later in month to

remove, owner asked if he could have 1/2 cord which gave at no cost . when we went back to get wood asked permission from new tenants which they gave now landlord is stating we trespassed and that he gets the wood Is this right?
