I am not sure of your question. Many times co-defendants will be offered reduced charges or a reduced prison sentence in exchange for information. Sometimes it is worth it and sometimes it is not. I would encourage you to hire your boyfriend an attorney.

If he is serving a prison sentence he may have a right to file a habeas corpus petition but the time period is 4 years from the date the sentence became final.

He's never been committed any offense before not a felon never been in trouble other than speeding is this really a charge is only life with no parole or death . I keep telling him not to talk but he thinks if he tells his son story they may understand I somehow don't believe that.

If you are looking for a public defender you need to apply in the court where your charges are pending. If you are looking to hire a lawyer you should look for criminal defense lawyers in the same county where your charges are pending. I do not know where Hoover, GA is.

I would strongly encourage you to hire a lawyer and to contest the trafficking and the condemnation. Trafficking has a minimum 10 years in prison and can be higher based upon the amount of the drugs seized.
