Q: My policy is in Md I was hit in Ga.Their insurance couldnt find a policy.I have UM but dont have a police report

You are required to file a report within 30-60 days under most policies. If it's not over that file one. Second, ask DMV to have the guy's license & tags suspended. If he has a policy that should do it. Last but not least contact a member of the Md. Assn for Justice-they give free consults.

Q: What do I need to know about choosing the best law firm to sign up with for a class action suit?

I currently have a St. Jude defibrillator that is part of their recall for faulty batteries (my 2nd faulty St Jude). There are multiple law firms organizing class action suits. Are they all the same or are there important things that I need to know before choosing one to represent me?

We signed some papers to do the program and had until 6 month then payment to would start in December. We received 2 bills and thought we got them disputed, but then received another bill. Block any payment; check your credit cards to make sure they didn't bill it.

Return any item they sent.

Send them a notice of cancellation, certified return receipt. Keep a copy of what you send.

This is a warranty or contracts question. Absent representations of the seller of something warranted, you have nothing. Buyer beware.

Not all counties in GA require emissions. Most counties don't.

Q: Can I sue walmart for my eye injury due to them not having safety seal on product which caused trip to ER

The product is bleach caled True Value. The top came of when it hit the floor and the liquid shot upward into my eye. In the middle of your case,then the lawfirm they left become your lawyer without you knowing

They should notify you, but if the old firm is competent, then I would go with it--it's sometimes tough finding a new lawyer in the middle of a case.

You can't. But talk to your attorney to see if that jury verdict can be used to lighten your sentence or otherwise.

Q: I'm wondering about the possibility of a lawsuit against a prison doctor or a implant company for defective hardware.

The implant had to be removed and I was told by one of the physicians that there were a couple screws loose on the device. I also became infected with staphylococcus and this was a direct result of the treatment rendered.

I believe you may in that case have a potential case against the attorney.But unlikely they wouldn't tell you unless you had not responded to their letters.

The consumer Product Safety Commission might be a place to go, but as to money for you, no.

Assuming it's under warranty, they should fix it and give you a loaner. Ask for a return, but even under the lemon law they are given time to fix it.
