Q: My dog was leashed up in our front yard. A motorcycle went by and the dog broke his collar and ran into the motorcycle.

I have home owners insurance and my agent said I am covered up to $300,000 worth of damages to the bike and medical. The motorcyclist has a lawyer. If he makes a claim for his damages, let your insurance handle it. They are obligated to defend and pay covered claims up to policy limits.

Q: I have had two accidents, one a car accident in February of 2014 where I was rear ended.

The insurance company has paid my medical bills and reimbursed Medicare, The adjustor has been calling requesting a settlement. Do I need an attorney as I am not sure if Medicare has been fully reimbursed, also what I am not sure what my rights are.
