There are a number of steps but first contact a member of the Okl Justice Assn--they give free consults. Get a copy of your policy. There are other steps after that. If you have collision run the damage through that and let them hassle the guy. If not, send a note to him that if he doesn't... View More

Q: I’m wondering what type of lawyer I would need for False Accusations on a Crash and Collision someone reported?

I bought my car with a white paint trace on the Driver side Bumper from a used car dealership. Someone called in and claimed I hit them while I was driving and they were driving behind me? Responding police officer declared it a hit and run in his report. Plaintiff filed claim with my fiancée’s insurance company who denied their claim because of zero wrong doing by my fiancée. In the plaintiffs lawsuit paperwork, it has no mention of police report or hit and run. Accident... View More

You have described a very weak case, but of course anyone can file a lawsuit. Make certain that your fiancé has reported the lawsuit to her insurer who will protect her interest assuming she has liability coverage. This is one of those instances where it is said that this is a reason we have... View More

Q: What are my options?

In April of last year I was driving a rental Ford F250. I drove it to my doctor appointment. At the parking facility the truck met the height clearance so I proceeded into the garage. Take photos of height of the truck. Take photos of height specified at garage. Send estimates and demand for payment to insurance company of garage. They don't pay, file complaint with the insurance commissioner of OK &/or the state AG office of consumer protection. That does no good file... View More

Depends on the nature of your injury. It's only been less than a year, and if they are arguing you had a preexisting condition--as they do in nearly every case short of amputation--yes, that can take that long.I'm assuming you have an attorney. If not you need to get one.

I was an auto accident in 2014. I was rear ended and only had the car for 2 months at this point. I am now trying to sell the car and cannot. I had no idea that a "diminished value claim" existed. Is there any legal recourse to get my lost money back?

Not sure what your role in this is. If you are a provider, maybe time for an attorney?
