Q: Should I establish as a LLC or S-Corp in Wyoming? What's the best tax-saving path?

You should setup an LLC in the state where you operate. Then determine if an S-election is appropriate for your LLC.

If you establish in WY you'll have to file a foreign registration in CA.

I do not practice in your state, but I can talk generally about the valuation of damages. For simplicity's sake, you should assume you have two types of damages. First, you have your actual damages. I am from the UK and looking to setup a US business. I understand that as a C-Corp, things are more formal and decisions require minuted... View More

For tax there is no difference. For state business compliance issues a Corporation has slightly more things that have to be done to maintain the corporate veil. I'm sorry your question hasn't been picked up in four weeks. Try reposting in the Libel & Slander section. That's where defamation would fall under, and where the question would hopefully have a better chance of being seen by a Wyoming attorney who practices in that area. Good luck

Unless the other owner has died you are going to have a difficult time "removing his name off the title" because they still own it with you. Hire a lawyer to advise you.

Q: On the interstate. Observed a crash take place ahead. Saw wrecked vehicle in ditch. Required to stop and render aid?

I judged stopping in breakdown lane to be potentially hazardous, so a passenger in my vehicle called an accident report in to local Sheriff's office on cellphone while I kept on driving. What does Wyoming law state about requirement to stop and render aid?

In nearly every state the law only applies to drivers "involved in the accident." A passer by such as yourself need not stop. You can phone the police if you clearly saw it happen (as opposed to looking over once you hear the bang).
