Q: I have agreed to settle my personal injury claim,6 mo ago but opposing coun wont send contracts what are my rights
A: I would recommend,that if you haven't already sent a letter to the opposing counsel setting forth the settlement terms that you do so. But in that letter make clear that on a given date, say 14 days out at 5:00 pm that the your acceptance of the offer to settle is withdrawn should counsel not submit to you the release and settlement documents. Then if that fails to bring this case to a close, I would suggest you contact a lawyer to help you with this.
