Q: Does GA statute allow for me, a military person, to LEGALLY carry a concealed handgun without a permit?
I am stationed in South Carolina. GA does not recognize SC's CHL, so it is of no use to me in GA. GA also does not offer a non-resident CHL. However, I travel often to GA, as Savannah is within 45 minutes of where I am stationed and live. I want to ensure that I understand the GA carry laws as it pertains to active duty service members.
