Q: What is the Florida Statutes of Limitations against a suit for racial Discrimination by another person?
There's constant racial discrimination in the community where I live, which is an association. Some of the members have depicted the non-liking of other persons because of their country of origin and the color of their skin. I want to know is there a statute of limitations for these actions or do these fall under the US Constitution. Can a suit be brought against the other person(s) and under what law?
A: Racial discrimination would have to be brought within 2 years. If it is a crime, a first degree felony would have to be brought within 4 years, and all other felonies within 3. More facts are necessary to anwer this question
