Jacksonville, FL asked in Medical Malpractice for Florida

Q: I made a supposedly anonymous complaint through our company hotline and two weeks later was called into H.R.

Since that time the company hired a lot of new younger people. Once I came into work overtime and ended up covering for a new guy so he could get trained and certified on the production line. This is how you get promoted by getting your cell certifications. I asked my supervisor for the same training and was told that there was no overtime for training yet the new guy is able to train and get advanced. Without training you cannot advance to the next pay level. I have been here for 23 years and the new guy has been here less than 2. Is this discrimination? Is this possibly retaliation for my complaint? Is it illegal to make someone think that their anonymous comments about the quality of a medical device are going to be kept secret and then people find out you were the one who made the complaint. I had this same thing happen to me several years ago and it went to mediation and the company said that they did nothing wrong. The mediator said if they ever do this again to get a lawyer.

A: You asked this nearly three years ago, and basically said what you needed to do back then.
