Q: having roof replace done. issues with contractor. Does release of lien need to list all subs individually?
We now know this contractor has a history of putting liens against homeowners. I paid for all materials up front and have a notice from the supplier that it was paid in full. The main contractor was out with a crew to do the tearoff and dry-in. And another person came out to do the shingling. I also got a release of lien from the dumpster co.
Does a release of lien form have to list out everyone? Do I have to get individual forms signed by every sub?
Or if the general contractor with his name on the permit signs it, does that state that it covers all subs??
Please help, I'm confused
