Panama City, FL asked in Medical Malpractice for Florida

Q: Do I need a Medical Malpractice Lawyer? what is the time limit for severe nerve damage?

An Ultrasound tech, squeezed on the staples, 3 days after surgery was performed on the bottom of my foot. I informed her that I had 30 staples on the bottom, so she could not squeeze there. She told me that she had to to get a correct reading, I told her again that I had 3o staples in the foot and it was in the beginning stages of healing after only 3 days from time of the surgery, again, she told me that she would be squeezing it, I raised my voice and told her that she better not squeeze my foot between the top and bottom of the bandage, She said ok. But gave my foot a quick hard squeeze when she got to it anyway. when I cried out in pain, she said, "aww, I don't think it hurt that bad." Now I have permanent nerve damage, and the top pad under my toes was moved upward and it healed that way. I was told at UAB Orthopedic Center that it can't be fixed. So now I live with CONSTANT, Pain, burning, bee sting feelings, and stove burn type numbness in 3 of my toes, and can't wear open shoes

A: You have to go see a medical malpractice attorney about this. You have a limited time to sue, which I think is only two years.
