Q: In the state of arkansas how many days/hrs is animal control required to hold your animal [dog] before adopting it out?
Currently dealing with animal control regarding them adopting my 5 year old yorkie out after we contacted them several times letting them know we were trying to obtain the outrageous amount of money they were asking for. I believe they adopted him out early, because they are trying to claim my husband said to place him for adoption, which isn't true. I also obtained paperwork under the freedom of information act and they whited out anything pertaining to him being placed. Dogs are property and not looked at as children therefore shouldn't be exempt from the adoption section of the act,correct? Please please help me. They also falsified dates etc on the forms that allowed me to get.
