Q: My boy friend is being charged for domestic violence in the 3rd degree what are the out comes of him going to jail?
My boyfriend had choked me and I called the police, he was not there when they showed up so they issued a warrant..he went to jail and went to court they dropped the charges from a felony to a misdemeanor for domestic assault in the 3rd degree..he has no prior criminal record at all and he pleaded guilty and is out on bail..he has to take anger management classes as well as AA and has the alcohol ankle bracelet he goes back to court on the 10th of September to be sentenced what are the out comes of him going to jail again and for how long? Before he was bailed out he was In jail for 3 weeks.
