I was issued a traffic violation 'disregard for traffic signal' violation while I am under court supervision for 3 traffic violation tickets in a year. How should I plead?

A: Hello Asker,

You should seek an attorney for this as soon as possible. Right now, your ticket has the potential to result in a petition to revoke your supervisions. In certain counties, you don't receive notice of these petitions and it is very easy to find your license unexpectedly suspended. Additionally, depending on your age, you may be almost guaranteed to be suspended. Taking action to prevent these suspensions requires research into the timing of these offenses as well as knowledge of the record keeping systems of each of these counties. You need to contact a traffic attorney to prevent an EXTREMELY likely suspension.

Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm sorry I can't be of more help here but based upon the limited information available, all I can say is that this situation will very likely require a traffic attorney to prevent a suspension.

Sincerely,

Jason A. Wilkins
