Q: Can airbags be used to identify dna of driver and driver charged criminally for fleeing scene of vehicle going off road?
A person was driving a vehicle and lost control. The vehicle struck a stationary object and was totaled. The airbags deployed. The owner of the vehicle is not answering questions concerning the accident. The police are threatening to send the deployed airbag to the crime lab to determine the driver and says they will charge the driver criminally unless the driver admits. What is the worst someone can get for not co-operating? Should the driver give a statement or go to court?
