Hello Asker,
First, you have to make sure to follow the traffic laws. The rules for suspension are VERY strict for drivers under 21. That said, I do not believe this will result in court supervision IF you appear in court and IF these are your only tickets. If you mail in the payment, you do have a decent chance of being suspended.
This is because a suspension will result from receiving 2 convictions for moving violations in a 24 month period when you are under 21 years old. Court supervision however does not count for this rule. If you can get court supervision on at least one of these, you won't be suspended (so long as there are no other convictions). Unfortunately, because you are under 18 years old, you cannot by statute receive court supervision without a parent or guardian's presence in court. This is why I feel mailing the ticket in is very risky and could result in a suspension. If you appear in court however, you have a much greater chance of receiving court supervision.
This response is written based upon a belief that these are your only tickets. If you have had past tickets, please let me know and I can detail how that affects your chances of preventing a license suspension. Thank you for your question and I hope I answered it for you. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Sincerely,
Jason A. Wilkins
