Q: what should I do now
Dear sir
On July 28th I was involved in a car accident. I was driving down Hywy74 in Laurinburg. My husband was driving we were in the left lane headed towards Charlotte. There was a pick up truck in the right hand lane. The right lane merged into the left lane. The truck pulled over into U.S. My husband went off into the grass but the truck still hit us with his trailer. He did not stop. I called 911 told them what had happened and gave them a description of the truck and trailer. The police came out to where we were and stopped the truck further up the road. Here is the problem. I live out of town. So when I received the report the Laurinburg police officer. Did not charge the driver of the truck with anything. Said in his description that we were parked on the left hand side of the road. And failed to yield right of way to the truck in the left lane. I have tried several times to contact the officer and find out why everything changed.
