Q: if i got a bicycle ticket in 2011 at the age of 14 in 2015 would that ticket be dropped?
It was a $125 ticket for coming to the only red light in my town its a small town i was going to the park to play basketball and stopped at the red light but there were no cars so i just went in the cross walk. I couldn't get my license until i turned 18, witch was march 20 2015, and its going to go on my record (the police officer said) until i took the parkland college class and i haven't even ever had my permit ever. I was 14 years old at this time in 2011.

Hello Asker,
Yes, it is possible that the ticket will have that effect. Receiving violations that enter as convictions can have the result of delaying the licensing process. When you did not complete the class for driving school, you failed to comply with the terms of supervision and were consequently convicted. A conviction can have serious issues because this would likely be a moving violation. For more specifics, it is necessary to see your driving record so that an attorney can more accurately diagnose problem. I would schedule a free consultation and show them the record. You can get it at any secretary of state driver services facility. It is called a court purposes abstract and it costs $12 dollars. It is unfortunately impossible to say exactly what happened without seeing that document because there are a number of issues that can cause a delay in your license.
The good news is it can be fixed and "removed" from your record. I say "removed" because you would be removing it from the public conviction record and placing it on the supervision record which fewer people have access to. Generally it is only available to attorneys, police, state's attorneys, courts, and the secretary of state.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have further questions.
Sincerely,
