Q: Can my son file a negligence suit against his orthopedic for a pressure ulcer due to a cast that was put on to thight

Hello my son has a pressure ulcer due to a cast that was put on to tight on his left leg for a fractured knee and has been hospitalized since Friday... His orthopedic was noticed several time about my son being in so much and and crying historically when his office only give me just prescription pain med but I insisted for them to see him check his cast out they finally gave me an appointment on the second week of having his cast on and throughout the whole time my son was tortured, so when we arrived at his office his techs took off my his cast and there were 3 big blisters which the techs just put back another cast right over the blisters and the wound cleaning the areas and my had a hell of two weeks when he tried to go to school and in alot of pain his school nurse will me constantly to bring meds and when we finally went back for the removal of the cast his whole ankle was swollen when I asked why the doctor said it was normal and just give him ibuprofen when did not even check it
